- Active Membership shall be granted to doctors of medicine and doctors of osteopathathy who are duly licensed and legally registered, who reside and or practice in Central Florida and its environs, and who would be eligible to join the National Medical Association. Active members shall be required to pay membership dues and may vote and hold office.
- Associate Membership is open to 1) post graduate physicians in training (interns, residents, and fellows) in an accredited medical education program located in the metropolitan Central Florida area, 2) physicians engaged in academic teaching and other duties in an accredited medical school and not engaged in clinical practice, 3) physicians in State and local health departments, 4) physicians in Federal Service (including Active Military Duty). Physicians in this category may elect active membership. Associate members shall be required to pay discounted membership dues as set forth by the Central Florida Medical Society Bylaws. Associate members shall not vote or hold office.
- Student Membership is open to students duly matriculating in an accredited medical school. Student members shall not vote or hold office.
